Audio/Video Editing

Let’s say you have a box of tapes and you want the best of your memories on a precious single disk. I’ll go through any amount of video and edit it down and/or convert it to DVD. I should also mention that I have a team of people who assist me in creating original film projects.

Just like photographs, video footage can always look better. I can enhance video in many different ways. Setting the dark and light levels perfectly ensures the proper level of black to white so that the contrast is perfect and it doesn’t look over or under exposed. Hue saturation is another great asset in creating breath taking vibrant footage. Especially when you are compressing footage for the web, you loose some of the luster the footage has in its full resolution state. I make sure the adjustments are made to contrast and hue saturation so that it looks perfect after compression methods and that just comes with years of experience. That stuff is actually just the tip of the iceberg.

With special film filters I use I'm able to make new footage look old, add colour tones to warm or chill the feel, and even copy the Sin City look. The sky really is the limit.

On top of editing video, I’m also highly trained to work with audio. Normalization, hiss reduction, and mastering are all key when producing audio.

Depending on the project, sound effects and soundtracks could also be desired. I’m a musician skilled in piano, guitar, bass, percussion, and singing. I create original pieces of music customized for individual projects.
